A moment of happiness caught 📸⠀_⠀_Post

I dipped my toe in and out of yoga for many years but never committed to the practice.  Then one day, I set a goal to complete a 30-day yoga challenge. 30 days lead to 60 which evolved into years, which lead me down a path to want to share yoga with others.

A common thread in my life has been movement, whether I was swimming, running, lifting weights. Yet, it was yoga that gave me a clearer picture of who I was in the moment and what I strived to be in the future.  I am more aware, compassionate, and connected because of yoga. The draw of the practice has always been the connection between mind and body.  Yoga opened the door to a mindset I was always longing for but found challenging to tap into.

The three values of awareness, kindness, and connectivity are what I bring into each of my classes.  It is my privilege as a yoga instructor to hold space for students. I want to help students to gain awareness of their bodies, move with compassion for themselves, and to connect movement and mind.  My hope is each student walks away from each class feeling more present in their both physical movement and emotional wellbeing.
